My Journey Into Rings, Stories, and Forgotten Civilizations

My Journey Into Rings, Stories, and Forgotten Civilizations

Recently, I found myself falling down a new obsession: human history. Not just the dates-and-empires version from textbooks, but the deeper question: how did we become who we are today?

The more I learned, the more I realized our past isn’t a straight line. There are gaps. Lost chapters. Civilizations that rose and vanished, leaving behind breathtaking craftsmanship, myths, and symbols that still appear in our world today. So I went deeper - into ancient stories, fragments of legends, archaeological discoveries, and theories about forgotten knowledge.

But along the way, something surprised me. What fascinated me most wasn’t just the artifacts or the ruins - it was the stories. The human part. Every stone carving, every symbol, every piece of jewelry that survived through time had meaning attached to it. It carried someone’s belief, love, hope, or legacy.

And that made me realize: we’re still doing the same thing today - leaving stories behind in the things we create and the symbols we choose to wear.

That’s what our rings are all about at Knot Theory - not just jewelry, but storytelling you can wear every day.

These aren’t pottery. They’re precision-carved from hard stone like granite and diorite, with accuracy down to a hair’s thickness!

Imagine if I had founded Knot Theory back then. Obsessing over precision on a GRANITE ring because silicone hadn’t been invented yet! Imagine all the fingers lost to that!

Aren't we glad we are doing this now instead of the ancient past? Our lasers are precise, and our rings are soft (and won't rip your fingers off)
