In 2015, I was shocked to learn that every year, 150,000 Americans experience ring avulsion - a traumatic injury to the finger as a result of wearing a hard ring!

The flexible silicone rings were the ideal solution to this problem, but all the silicone rings available at the time were very bulky, uncomfortable, and toy-like.

That's why I set out to design better silicone rings. I was obsessed with improving the quality, safety, and style of silicone wedding rings. 

Our very first collection was a huge hit the moment it went live. People were buying the non-bulky Knot Theory rings within the hour it became available online!

Since then, Knot Theory has pioneered numerous innovations in the silicone ring evolution. We were the first to create beveled silicone wedding bands that resemble metal jewelry, the silver and bronze gold silicone rings, and the narrow bandwidth thin rings for women.
